Urgent plight of Somalia's child refugees

Doctors say more aid is desperately needed to help Somalis fleeing to refugee camps in Kenya. Last Modified: 09 Jul 2011 18:41

The international community has finally taken notice of Dadaab, the world's largest refugee camp in Kenya. But doctors say the situation is becoming increasingly worse, and that more aid is needed. Most of those at the camp are Somali refugees who have fled the crisis in their own country - some walking for days to escape drought and violence. These refugees are hopeful that the world will do its best to help them. Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the camp, there are mounds of freshly dug graves, most of them belonging to children. Al Jazeera's Nazinine Moshiri reports from Dadaab.
