Police: Daughter killed Pa. mom with shotgun photo
This photo shows the location of Ashville, Pa., shooting at 643 Bottom Road. Investigators said the father found his wife and son fatally shot, then in turn shot the two intruders. The father, identified by a relative as John Frew, was not injured. The relative, Virginia Cruse, said the victims included her 64-year-old sister Roberta Frew and the couple's 47-year-old son. She identified the slain assailants as Frew's daughter, Josephine, and her husband, Jeff Ruckinger. A two-decade family feud came to a violent end when a man shot dead the two home invaders that killed his wife and son, not knowing the assailants included his long-estranged daughter, authorities said Sunday.
Though the investigation of Friday's shootings continues, authorities said it appears Josephine and Jeffrey Ruckinger planned to murder her family at their rural central Pennsylvania home — but it remains unclear what exactly led to the deadly confrontation.
"They parked at the bottom of a long driveway, and walked up, heavily armed," said Cambria County District Attorney Kelly Callihan.
Josephine Ruckinger was armed with a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun and her husband had a Derringer pistol and a .22-caliber semi-automatic handgun as they approached the Frew family home in Ashville, about 40 miles southwest of State College, according to investigators.

John Frew, his wife Roberta, and their son John Jr., 47, had just returned from dinner out, and were watching TV in the living room of the white mobile home when there was a knock at the door, authorities said.
Police say Roberta, 64, answered the door, and cried out something like "Oh my God, they have guns!" before her daughter shot her at point-blank range. John Jr. then may have attempted to arm himself with a gun, but Jeffrey Ruckinger shot him multiple times in the chest, killing him, police said.
The elder Frew, 67, grabbed a .22 revolver and came out from the bedroom to find the daughter he didn't initially recognize pointing the shotgun at him. Frew fired once, hitting her in the head, then turned and exchanged fire with Jeffrey Ruckinger, killing him. He then called police.
Josephine Ruckinger was still alive when police arrived, but later died at an area hospital. John Frew was not hurt.
Callihan said that the preliminary investigation suggests that the elder Frew and his family were victims "of a pre-planned murder" plot, and that he acted in self-defense. Police also found a can of gas and lighter fluid in the Ruckingers' car.
Ballistics and toxicology tests are pending, investigators said.
Authorities are still exploring possible motives, but say there may have been burglaries and robberies at the Frew residence in the past.
A relative, Virginia Cruse, said the daughter and mother did not get along, but that she had no idea what spawned Friday's tragedy. The daughter had "a hatred toward the family," she said.
When Josephine was about 20, she and a boyfriend trashed her parents' home and stole items including a pistol, then fled to Pittsburgh, Cruse said. After that, she said, "more or less, they disowned her."
Jeff Ruckinger worked for a tire repair company and Josephine had disabilities that prevented her from working, Cruse said.

Somali journalist dies in hospital after attack

Published: October 27, 2013
— A Somali journalist died in hospital after being attacked by gunmen, a colleague said Sunday, bringing to seven the number of journalists killed in Somalia this year.
Journalist Mohamed Mohamud, 26, died in hospital Saturday night, said fellow journalist Ahmed Nor Mohamed. "We have lost a precious life once again. Doctors were not able to save our colleague," he said.
Mohamud was buried Sunday.
Mohamud, who also was known as Tima'ade, had undergone surgery after being shot six times in the neck, chest and shoulder, said the Committee to Protect Journalists, or CPJ. Unidentified gunmen in a car shot at Mohamud as he drove to work early Tuesday in the Wadajir district of the capital, Mogadishu, the journalists' group said, citing local reports.
Mohamud reported for the private U.K.-based Universal TV, which covers news for the Somali diaspora, said the CPJ.
Somalia is one of the most dangerous countries for media workers. At least 18 journalists were killed in Somalia last year.
It's not entirely clear who has been targeting journalists. But militants, criminals, and even state agents all could have reasons to want journalists killed in Somalia, according to the CPJ.
The killings of media workers often happen in the government-controlled areas that journalists generally consider safe, and reporters must watch their backs for attacks from extremists and criminals as well as possible hostility from the government.

Syrian refugee mother kills son with gasoline injection

Al Arabiya
A Syrian refugee mother living in Jordan ended the life of her son with a gasoline injection, saying she wanted to relieve him from the difficult living conditions, AFP’s Arabic wire service reported on Friday, quoting a Jordanian security source.
The mother had previously attempted to kill her 7-year-old son by hanging. But the failed attempt left the child with severe wounds, and he was hospitalized for medical treatment, the source said.
While visiting him at Princess Basma Hospital in Irbid, northern Jordan, the mother injected the child’s serum with gasoline.
“The breathing device launched a warning once the child’s heart stopped beating and the doctors rushed to save him while the smell of gasoline spread in the room and exposed the crime,” AFP quoted the unnamed security source as saying.
An estimated 450,000 Syrian refugees have fled to Jordan since the outbreak of the Syrian civil war. Most of them live in the northern part of the country bordering Syria.

Tunisian girls return home pregnant after ‘sexual jihad’ in Syria

Al Arabiya
A number of Tunisian girls who had travelled to Syria to perform “sexual jihad” there have returned back home pregnant, Tunisian Interior Minister Lotfi Bin Jeddo said on Thursday.
The Tunisian girls “are (sexually) swapped between 20, 30, and 100 rebels and they come back bearing the fruit of sexual contacts in the name of sexual jihad and we are silent doing nothing and standing idle,” the non-partisan minister said during an address to the National Constituent Assembly.
Bin Jeddo said the interior ministry has banned 6,000 Tunisians from travelling to Syria since March 2013 and arrested 86 individuals suspected of forming “networks” that send Tunisian youth for “jihad” to Syria.
The minister hit back at human rights groups criticizing the government’s decision to ban suspected “jihadists” from travel. Most of those slapped with travel bans were less than 35 years old, he said.
“Our youths are positioned in the frontlines and are taught how to steal and raid (Syrian) villages,” Bin Jeddo said.
Former Mufti of Tunisia Sheikh Othman Battikh said in April that 13 Tunisian girls “were fooled” into travelling to Syria to offer their sexual services to rebels fighting to overthrow the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.

Militant group:Egyptian ex-army officer was suicide bomber

Al Arabiya

Associated Press, Cairo
An ex-Egyptian army officer carried out the suicide bombing last month that unsuccessfully targeted the country’s interior minister, a video posted online Saturday by al-Qaeda-inspired militants claims.

Military officials reached by The Associated Press declined to comment on the video posted in the name of the Ansar Jerusalem militant group, which has carried out other attacks in the country’s lawless Sinai Peninsula. But it comes as security officials already sacked one police officer over alleged ties with Islamists as turmoil persists over the country’s July 3 military coup.

The video posted on militant websites shows a man identified as Waleed Badr, who wears a major’s uniform. He says in the video that the Egyptian army is “bent on fighting religion” and “loves America” more than Egyptians.

An unnamed narrator says officials fired Badr, who graduated from a military academy in 1991, from the army because he used to criticize officers for not being pious. The narrator says Badr also fought with militants in Afghanistan and Syria, but failed to get to Iraq after being arrested in Iran and held for a year in prison. The narrator gives no dates for these events and the AP could not immediately trace Badr’s whereabouts for this time.

The video also shows a car in streets described as being close to the home of Interior Minister Mohammed Ibrahim in Cairo. It shows the minister’s motorcade and provided a description of his armored SUV. The video does not explain, however, why the bombing failed to kill Ibrahim. The blast Sept. 5 killed one person and injured 22 others.

Ansar Jerusalem already claimed responsibility for last week’s bomb attack on a military intelligence compound in the Suez canal city of Ismailia and for a suicide car bomb attack on a security headquarters in the town of el-Tor, in southern Sinai on Oct. 7. Earlier, the group claimed attacks on gas pipelines to Israel, rockets targeting Israel and a 2012 shootout along the Israeli-Egyptian border in which three militants and an Israeli soldier were killed.

Attacks in the Sinai and elsewhere have risen following the July 3 military coup that overthrew Islamist President Mohammed Morsi. Since then, supporters of Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood have staged near-daily rallies around the country, protesting security crackdown in which hundreds have been killed and more than 2,000 of group’s members have been jailed. Morsi has been held incommunicado since his ousting and a court has ordered an outright ban on his group.

Authorities appear to have expanded the scope of their crackdown. A police officer was suspended from his duties in the Nile province of Gharbiya, north of Cairo, because he was suspected of being a Brotherhood member, security officials said Friday. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to journalists.

The decision could signal that the military-backed leadership will purge Brotherhood members from the security forces, a move that could deepen tensions. Morsi supporters and those backing the military already accuse each other using violence to advance their causes.

In the video, however, Badr also criticized the Muslim Brotherhood and other Muslim groups for believing in democracy and repeated al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahri’s ideology that establishing Islamic Shariah laws could only be achieved through jihad.

He urged Egyptian Muslims “to sacrifice your lives through the explosive devices and the explosive belts and to kill in the same way they kill.”

Al Arabiya
The Sultan of Brunei on Tuesday announced the enforcement of Shariah (Islamic law) within its criminal law to take effect next year.
The law would be enforced from April, said the 67-year-old Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, one of the world’s wealthiest people, in a move to shift to more conservative Islam.
“It is because of our need that Allah the Almighty, in all his generosity, has created laws for us, so that we can utilize them to obtain justice,” the sultan was quoted as saying by Reuters news agency.
The ruler of the oil-rich country of 400,000, Bolkiah first called in 1996 for the introduction of sharia criminal punishments.
Brunei already practices a conservative brand of Islam relative to its Muslim neighbors in Southeast Asia, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Nearly 70 percent of the sultanate’s people are Muslim ethnic Malays, while about 15 percent are non-Muslim ethnic Chinese, followed by indigenous peoples and other groups.

The sale and public consumption of alcohol is banned and activities of others religious are closely restricted.

Al-Shabaab ratchets up scare tactics in Barawe following US raid

Sabahionline.com

By Dahir Jibril in Mogadishu

October 15, 2013
Al-Shabaab has stepped up its harassment of civilians in the Somali coastal town of Barawe following the attempted capture of a senior al-Shabaab leader by US Navy SEALs earlier this month.
  • A photo released by al-Shabaab earlier this year via Twitter shows a group of its fighters descending upon a coastal Somali town. [File] A photo released by al-Shabaab earlier this year via Twitter shows a group of its fighters descending upon a coastal Somali town. [File]
Each morning since the US operation, armed and masked al-Shabaab fighters have forced their way into district shops and homes to harass people, locals said, amid reports that more than 200 additional militants have arrived to reinforce the town.
"This is not an easy situation. Ever since the American commandoes carried out the attack on the beach home in Barawe, where I heard there were al-Shabaab fighters and senior officers, the many problems we faced have increased," said Asha Mumin, a 35-year-old mother of four who lives in the town.
Mumin told Sabahi that the fighters have also ordered people to hand over their mobile phones for inspection.
In the early hours of October 5th, an elite unit of US commandoes came ashore in Barawe in an attempt to capture Abdulkadir Mohamed Abdulkadir "Ikrima", a Somali-Kenyan and alleged al-Shabaab commander of foreign fighters. The mission was aborted when the commandoes came under heavy fire and the risk of innocent civilian casualties was assessed to be too great.
Ikrima is said to be directly linked to al-Shabaab's four-day siege on Westgate mall in Nairobi that left at least 67 people dead.
Two days after the raid, al-Shabaab kidnapped five young businessmen, whose whereabouts remain unknown, said 56-year-old traditional elder Ali Ahmed.
"They took the young men from the city of Barawe in different ways. Two of them were blindfolded and taken from their homes by armed men in [armoured] vehicles while the other three were taken from shops they owned in the market in Barawe," Ahmed told Sabahi. "No one dares to ask al-Shabaab why they took those young men."
While al-Shabaab has always harassed people in Barawe, it has raised its level of intimidation since the American operation, Ahmed said.
"Not only are they kidnapping and harming civilians and [young business owners] of Barawe, they also kidnapped three young men who were their own fighters accusing them of guiding the American operation in Barawe [because] of their heavy internet usage," he said.

Citizens plead for government to intervene

People flee the local market and traders close their shops whenever word spreads that militants are approaching, said Maryan Yusuf, 38, who owns a clothing shop in the market.
"When the misled young al-Shabaab members come into the market with their masks on, they intimidate the people unnecessarily by ordering us to point out the ones among us who work with the infidels," she told Sabahi. "We know nothing about that. Some people try to argue with them and the response they get is to be blindfolded and taken away."
She said she did not understand why the militants would suspect any of the workers at the market of collaborating.
"They are causing us great hardship because they are forcing us to report or help them search for people they describe as spies among [innocent] business people who are just doing their work," Yusuf said.
"It is clear this is an exaggeration on the part of al-Shabaab as they try to make excuses for the problems they are causing the people of Barawe, who were already living under the difficult conditions that have been imposed upon them for many years," she said.
"I am calling on the Somali government to come and rescue us and free us from al-Shabaab as soon as possible."
To that end, Somali Defence Minister Abdihakim Haji Mohamud Fiqi said last week that the country's armed forces would soon begin operations to liberate Barawe from al-Shabaab.
"We intend and plan to liberate them very soon," he said. "And as you know, really, al-Shabab, wherever we attack them, they do not fight back, they do not defend, they just evacuate and run."

Egypt orders arrest of policemen for killing detained Islamists

AL Arabiya

Reuters, Cairo
An Egyptian prosecutor on Tuesday ordered the arrest of four police officers accused of killing 38 members of the Muslim Brotherhood during their detention last August, security sources and state media said.
The Islamists suffocated after teargas was fired into the back of a police van where they were being held.
The Ministry of Interior said at the time the prisoners were trying to escape from the vehicle as it was transporting them to jail and that they had also taken a police officer hostage.
“The prosecution has been investigating the incident since it happened and investigated with the seven involved police officers in three private sessions,” one security source said.
“Today the prosecution ordered jail for four senior officers for four days pending trial and released the three junior ones. The four were charged with neglect and killing detainees.”
The state-run Al Ahram daily said on its website that public prosecutor Hisham Barakat ordered the imprisonment of four police officers pending further investigation of the accusation of murder.
The newspaper and a security source said a total of 49 detainees died in the incident.
The Muslim Brotherhood has accused Egyptian authorities of flagrant human rights abuses against the movement since the army toppled Islamist President Mohammad Mursi in July following weeks of mass unrest over his rule.
The state denies the accusations and describes the Brotherhood as terrorists bent on destabilizing the Arab world's most populous country.
Hundreds of Islamists have been killed and nearly 2,000, including Mursi and other top Brotherhood leaders, have been arrested in a campaign to bring Egypt's oldest Islamist movement to its knees.

Yemeni 15-year-old girl burned to death for ‘meeting fiancé: police

AFP, SANAA
A 15-year-old Yemeni girl has been burned to death for allegedly meeting her fiancé before their wedding, police said on Tuesday, adding that her father was the chief suspect.

Prosecutors are to press charges against the 35-year-old over the death of his daughter in the village of Shabaa in the southern highland province of Taez, the police website said.

Killings of daughters, wives or sisters to punish perceived breaches of family honor are not uncommon in Yemen, despite pressure from the United Nations and human rights watchdogs for more effective action by the authorities to protect women.

Tribal loyalties run deep in the impoverished Arabian peninsula nation and often take precedence over the writ of the central government.

‘We need whistleblowers’ says Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee

AL Arabiya

The British computer scientist, speaking in the wake of the Wikileaks and Edward Snowden scandals, said people who leak confidential data are necessary. (File photo: Reuters)
Ben Flanagan, Al Arabiya, Abu Dhabi
Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the Web, believes whistleblowers should be given special protection even if they break the law, according to comments he made at the opening of the Abu Dhabi Media Summit.
The British computer scientist, speaking in the wake of the Wikileaks and Edward Snowden scandals, said people who leak confidential data are necessary because government “systems of accountability have failed.”
“We have to rely on the whistleblower at the end of the day,” Berners-Lee said.
Berners-Lee’s words are topical amid the U.S. fury over computer analyst Edward Snowden, who leaked top-secret National Security Agency documents that revealed the extent of government surveillance on the public and other states.
Despite the upset over such leaks, Berners-Lee said whistleblowers’ work is essential to counter authorities’ infringements on citizens’ privacy, adding that more accountability is required for governments wishing to spy on citizens’ online activities.
“It’s clear that the systems in the U.S. and UK have not been good enough. The systems of accountability have failed,” he said. “In the future, what we have to do is set that system up.”
Whistleblowers who have been forced to disclose information after exhausting other legal channels deserve “special protection,” he added.
“I think you need protection, even though you may as a whistleblower may have clearly violated laws,” he said.

Big impact

Berners-Lee is director of the World Wide Web Consortium, which oversees the Web’s continued development.
The invitation-only Abu Dhabi Media Summit started on Tuesday and runs until October 24, organized in conjunction with the twofour54 media zone.
Other speakers include Mark Hollinger, head of Discovery Networks International, and Shailesh Rao, vice-president for international operations at Twitter.
The Summit was opened by Khaldoon Khalifa al-Mubarak, chairman of the Abu Dhabi media zone twofour54.
He underlined the importance of the internet and digital technology in everyday life – not least because of the efforts made by Berners-Lee.
“Very few people have had as big impact on our daily lives as Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web,” he said.

Israel to build synagogue at al-Aqsa Mosque

A recent report says the Israeli regime is planning to build a synagogue in the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) as part of its efforts to further Judaize the occupied Palestinian territories, Press TV reports.

According to the report recently published by the al-Aqsa Foundation and based on the information leaked from the Israeli Knesset, the plan will divide the compound, taking one-fifth for the Jews in order for them to perform their religious rituals there.

Senior officials from the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, have spoken out against the move, calling for a large-scale intervention from Arab states.

Leader of the Hamas Political Bureau Khaled Mashal stated that the measure is part of the Tel Aviv regime’s strategy to demolish al-Aqsa Mosque and eradicate Islamic history of the site.

Speaking in a televised speech on Saturday, Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh condemned Israel’s efforts to Judaize al-Quds and the al-Aqsa Mosque.

He also censured Israel’s expansionist policies and the regime’s crimes against the Palestinian nation, saying the liberation of Palestine is a national duty.

Political analyst Ahmad Rafiq Award has told Press TV that the Israeli’s move to build a synagogue at the al-Aqsa Mosque is unlikely to provoke any reactions from Arabs given the ongoing crises in their countries.

“The Israeli authorities have conducted these plans in a surreptitious way and in small steps in order to brainwash the Jews, and people from the Arab states. By taking one-fifth to begin with, they will start to falsify the history on the ground,” he said.

“They will use these plans in an attempt to unify secular Jews, who are in dispute about demolishing al-Aqsa (Mosque). It is also very unlikely that Arab states will intervene while they are dealing with their revolutions and internal issues,” the analyst pointed out.

Over the past decades, Israel has tried to change demographic makeup of al-Quds by constructing illegal settlements, destroying historical sites and expelling the local Palestinian population.

Palestinians are seeking to create an independent state on the territories of the West Bank, East al-Quds, and the Gaza Strip and are demanding Israel to withdraw from the occupied Palestinian territories.

Tel Aviv, however, has refused to return to the 1967 borders and is unwilling to discuss the issue of al-Quds.

Followers of different faiths have held an interfaith event in Gloucester, southwest England, to boost Britons’ understanding of Islam and Muslims.

During the event, titled Engaging with Islam and organized by St James’ and Christ Church, Gloucester’s first Muslim Sheriff Said Hansdot said the recent murder of a British soldier in Woolwich, London, and the ensuing arson attack on the city’s mosque showed the need for greater efforts to introduce people to Islam.

"Until what happened a few months ago, we had thought we were doing a great job in engaging with the community but obviously a lot of work still needs to be done," Hansdot, told The BBC.

The arson on June 18 was part of a wave of anti-Muslim hate attacks and terrorist incidents that followed the murder of British soldier Lee Rigby in Woolwich, London, on May 22.

The event led to a ten-fold spike in anti-Muslim attacks in the few following weeks.

In June, The Independent published a study that showed between 40 and 60 percent of mosques and other Islamic centers in Britain had been targeted since 9/11 incidents in the US.

The survey warned about the growing number of attacks against Muslims, even when they are at their homes.

Hansdot also said he will work to extend interfaith relations stressing “in my role as the sheriff of Gloucester, I'm taking that duty very seriously”.

"I do engage with these communities, just to show them that 'look I am one of you and I am here to represent you as well'," he added.

Peter King: Al-Shabab, Group Behind Nairobi Mall Shooting, Recruited In The U.S. (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON -- A member of the House Homeland Security Committee says the al-Qaida affiliated group behind the deadly attack on an upscale shopping mall in Kenya recruited up to 50 people from Somali American communities in the U.S.
Rep. Pete King said Sunday between 15 and 20 of the Somali Americans al-Shabab recruited remain active.
The New York Republican says the concern is that some may return and "use their abilities on the U.S." King says he assumes the FBI and local law enforcement are looking at Somali American communities to make sure no follow up attacks are planned for the United States.
King tells ABC's "This Week" he was briefed on the Nairobi attack in which 59 people were killed. He likened the incident to the 2011 terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

President Uhuru Kenyatta directs Kenyans to know their neighbours

Standard Digital News

By STANDARD DIGITAL REPORTER
Nairobi, Kenya: In the wake of increased insecurity incidents President Uhuru Kenyatta has directed all people living in Kenya to know their neighbours.

In his maiden Mashujaa Day speech to the nation, Uhuru asked Kenyans to know everything and everyone around them as a way of ensuring security is not breached.
“It will be a great betrayal for anyone of us to pretend oblivion while next door, someone is assembling bombs, hoarding illegal weapons, or detaining a kidnapped child. That is why we must all embrace the ‘Nyumba Kumi’ plan: ensure that you know at least 10 households around your residence well.”
The president also noted the holistic nature of security and reminded Kenyans do all they can to protect their country, its people and their prosperity.
According to the president, Kenya will not shy away from venturing outside its borders if that will enhance its security.
Said the president, “From time to time, therefore, we may be required to intervene externally to keep our country, and our neighbours safe. We have not been found wanting in that regard, and we stand ready to act whenever required. I am happy to report that peace and security initiatives in Somalia and South Sudan are bearing fruit.”
On its part, Uhuru said the Government will remain vigilant and invest in equipping the security forces to have sufficient capacity to deter and contain all forms of violence and criminality.
The rampant destruction of infrastructure including road and rail guards and electricity networks has also caught the president’s attention. Uhuru wants all Kenyans to play a role in containing such vices.
“I urge Kenyans to be vigilant against vandals and poachers, who selfishly destroy taxpayers’ investment in national infrastructure and our natural heritage. I direct the police to ensure that such people are arrested and prosecuted at once.”

Mom Cut 20 Years in a Week Using This 1 Weird Trick

Mary, an ordinary mom of three from Nairobi, Nairobi Area is the perfect example of a smart consumer that bypassed the health risks and thousands of dollars of using Botox to erase her wrinkles and "reverse the clock" on life.
Like most Americans, Mary makes an average salary and doesn't have the extra cash to try every celebrity endorsed Anti-Aging miracle cream out there, let alone splurge on expensive medical procedures. At one time she considered taking out loans for injecting Botox and even contemplated getting a facelift, but became frightened after researching Botox and face lift malpractice stories. Mary was determined to find a safe and affordable solution that would yield real results and not leave her in debt.
After watching a television documentary on cell revival, Mary discovered two beauty products from trusted skin care companies BellaGenix & Veloura to unlock the secrets of anti-aging. Her results are comparable to what you might attain at Medi Spas and Doctors offices for $3000 or more, all the while using nothing but BellaGenix & Veloura.
After finding Mary's shocking success story on the Internet, we thought it was important to share her story with our readers wanting to erase those wrinkles and "reverse the clock" on life. This solution has not only removed her wrinkles, but also tightened her neck and face instantly. It changed her life and we hope it can change yours too.

The Solution:

Mary discovered that the secret to cell revival is Polymoist-PS, an advanced formula that affects your skin at the cellular level. Polymoist-PS allows to lift off layers of dead or dying skin. After removing the top layer of skin, the soft, young skin from underneath is brought to the surface and hydrated. While researching the best anti-aging/skin care products, she discovered celebrities had been using Polymoist-PS creams for years to stay and look young. A prominent celebrity skin care doctor also revealed that using BellaGenix & Veloura with Polymoist-PS was the celebrity secret to success as it contains powerful antioxidants, vitamins, and moisturizing agents.
"Based on my research, I knew BellaGenix & Veloura would deliver incredible results and the fact that I got them both at discounted prices was the icing on top. I never would have thought that something which is being offered for such a low price could ever yield a better result than the more expensive anti-aging solutions." - Mary

Mary's Story & 14 Day Cell Revival Results:

"I have to admit I do tend to jump on the bandwagon and I have tried countless anti-aging wrinkle creams such as Oil of Olay, Neutrogena, and many others to help me look young again. Unfortunately, the results were never as good as I wanted them to be. Until, one day after watching a documentary on Polymoist-PS and doing some careful research, I found BellaGenix & Veloura. I was very skeptical, but during my research I came across countless success stories and clinical studies which led me to giving them a fair try.
So how did I get started? During my time researching Polymoist-PS, I discovered most of the success stories were from people who combined BellaGenix & Veloura for maximum results. These products are extremely potent anti-oxidant wrinkle reducers containing not only Polymoist-PS, but also the popular Renovage (also known as "Facelift in a Jar") and Ester-C (which is the active anti-aging compound in Vitamin C).
"The instruction recommended was to apply BellaGenix in the morning, while applying Veloura before bed time." - Mary
Day 1
The first day using BellaGenix & Veloura, I was surprised on how wonderful they both made my skin feel.
It felt like every last pore on my face was being tightened and pulled by a gigantic vacuum cleaner. I don't know how else to describe it. I could feel a deep, warm, tingly sensation on my cheeks, around my eyes, and my forehead. I looked in the mirror and saw a rosy-tinged hue. A radiant, glowing hue that was the result of nourishing blood rushing to the surface of my skin. And these marvelous "sensations" lasted for hours.
I applied BellaGenix in the early morning and I applied Veloura before bed time.

By Day 5
After five days of using BellaGenix & Veloura, I was shocked of the drastic results.
The lines, the pores and the wrinkles - without question - were visibly reduced in size right before my eyes!
I was astonished by the results, and I literally felt 20 years younger again. I felt I was watching all my wrinkles and lines vanish right off.

By Day 14
After 14 days, not only had all my doubts and skepticism absolutely vanished...but so did my wrinkles!
The lines on my forehead, the loose skin on my neck...even the age spots on my face...looked so much less noticeable and disappeared. I've never felt and seen anything tighten my skin with this kind of force.
After using BellaGenix & Veloura for a couple of weeks, my skin not only stayed that way, it actually got better and better looking each day until it got as beautiful and flawless looking today as it was 20 years ago.
At this point, all my family and friends started asking me if I got a face lift or tried BOTOX.

Somalia 20 years later: Veterans gather in Plano to see old friends, remember fallen brothers

Saudi Arabia appears to be determined to crack down on the Muslim Brotherhood in a manner similar to the UAE, where security services have already arrested over 90 members of the Brotherhood.
The Saudi newspaper Al-Watan, which has close ties to state security agencies, published a detailed report on its front page on Wednesday, 2 October 2013, claiming that members of the Muslim Brotherhood have tried to assassinate the Head of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, Abdul Latif Alshaikh, in an attempt to depict the Brotherhood as terrorists, much like the authorities in both the UAE and Egypt have done.
The newspaper confirmed reports that Alshaikh was recently the target of an assassination attempt when a car tried to run him over as he was leaving the mosque after dawn prayers. However, according to the newspaper, the plan did not work and Alshaikh was unharmed.
In the front page report, the newspaper conflates the Syrian Salafist trend with the Muslim Brotherhood, stating that they are one and the same, and notes that Alshaikh has removed them from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, which appears to confirm that a campaign is being launched against the Brotherhood, similar to the one in the UAE. Many arrests have already taken place, and many employees have been let go from their jobs.
It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia is considered the biggest supporter of the recent military coup in Egypt, which overthrew a democratically elected government led by the Muslim Brotherhood. According to some reports, the Head of Saudi Intelligence, Prince Bandar Bin Sultan, was even behind General Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi's operation to violently disperse the sit-ins in the Rabaa Al-Adaweya and Al-Nahda Squares in Cairo.

"We were part of something good, and we should be proud of what we did. We went out there and did the best we could with what we had."

That is the way former Army Ranger Mike Kurth described the military action in Somalia 20 years ago. Kurth, a Houston native, was one of several dozen veterans of the Battle of Mogadishu who gathered in Plano Thursday to recognize the 20th anniversary of the battle, one of the darkest days in recent military history.

On Oct. 3, 1993, 19 soldiers died in a battle that has become known as Black Hawk Down. Those killed in action consisted of Army Rangers, Delta Force operators, Night Stalker helicopter crew members and soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division. Each of the men was honored Thursday night in an emotional ceremony that served not only as a way to remember fallen friends, but also as a reunion for those who survived the battle.

"We celebrate their lives because they were great people, but you are sad because they were such great people and they are not with us anymore," said retired Col. Danny McKnight, the Rangers' commander during the battle. "Tonight I have seen some guys I haven't seen in 20 years. It was one of the greatest feelings you could ever have."

McKnight traveled from Florida to attend the reunion, but the trip was not direct. Along the way, he visited the graves of the six Rangers killed that day, including a visit to Arlington National Cemetery to pay his respects to Sgt. Casey Joyce, a 1987 Plano Senior graduate.

Thursday night's reunion occurred at Casey Joyce All-America Post 4380, a location Kurth said was a perfect tribute to the fallen Ranger.

"I can't think of a better way to start this weekend than being here in the James Casey Joyce VFW," he said. "There is no place I would rather be right now."

All of the soldiers who took part in the battle were deeply affected by what occurred. Kurth lost his two best friends, Joyce and Sgt. Dominick Pilla, both of whom were killed while attempting to rescue injured soldiers.

"We all met at the reception station before basic training and ended up going to Airborne School together," Kurth said. "It was the three musketeers; if you found one of us, you found all of us. Me and Casey went to Ranger School together, and then Dominick went one class after us. We were separated but quickly got back together again. About a year later we got orders to go to Mogadishu."

Kurth remembers Joyce as one of the most squared-away, dedicated Rangers he ever served with. He said Joyce's attention to detail was outstanding, a trait that came in handy during Ranger School when the two leaned on one another.

"Tonight brings back the memories," he said. "It made me think about the morning of Oct. 4 when I heard the names. [Dale] Sizemore came up to me teary-eyed and said, 'They're gone.' I asked him what he meant, 'Did they just go back to the rear? Where are they at?' He said, 'No, they are all dead.' When he listed off the names of Pilla and Joyce I was just crushed. I collapsed at the edge of the bunker I was sitting at because I didn't just lose one, I lost two. That still pains me 20 years later."

Several members of Joyce's family attended the service, including his widow, Deanna Joyce Beck, and his siblings, Steve and Sancy. Steve said he felt his brother, and all others who took part in the battle, did so because they felt a sense of calling to serve their country, even if it meant giving their lives for their fellow soldiers.

"Casey heard a call [to serve], but it wasn't a call that came from politicians, it was a call that came from deep within," Steve said. "It was a call that was planted in his heart and he answered it -- 'Here am I, send me.'

"I have heard that to become a Ranger you have to volunteer three times: once when you join the Army, again for airborne and again to become a Ranger. I believe it is this spirit of volunteerism that is in the character of men. Rangers lead the way not because of a creed on a plaque. You see, Rangers lead the way because of a creed that is written on their hearts. ... My brother gave his life on those dusty streets living out the Ranger Creed."
