A total of 111 army servicemen and 189 civilians have been killed in Libya since riots gripped the country in the middle of February, government sources say.
The eastern port city of Benghazi saw the worst anti-government violence in which 104 civilians and 10 military were killed.
Human rights campaigners estimate the death toll at several hundred.
The Al Arabiya television channel reports 800 killed in Tripoli alone.
Protests against the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, who has ruled the country for 42 years, have been raging since February 15th.
The authorities are using force to quell the protests.
