Father Kizito media ‘trial’ was unfair

Updated 14 hr(s) 31 min(s) ago

Any person, who commits a crime should face the law regardless of their social status.
Last week’s allegations against Father Kizito were grave and required full attention from all law abiding citizen. However, the timing of was suspect. Why was it just a day after Catholic bishops rejected the nomination of top judicial officials on moral grounds?
What a coincidence of events?
In principle, the journalists who worked on the stories could have interrogated both the suspect and victims before giving it big coverage. Kizito, like any other person, deserves fair trial.
Journalists should not use the press freedom to attack or advise the Church on how to run Kivuli or Koinoni property which Kizito has founded based on wild allegations.
