Buddhists
have burned down a mosque in Myanmar’s Rakhine state amid growing
concerns over a state-sponsored ethnic cleansing against the Muslim
Rohingya in the country.
The report comes on Friday as the Muslim Rohingya, the minority Muslim group, suffers discrimination in Myanmar.
Rakhine state has been the scene of violence against the Muslim Rohingyas since June 2011, leaving dozens dead and thousands homeless.
