Play VideoThe escalating protests in Libya, are raising concerns for the safety of foreign citizens working and living in the country.
The South Korean Foreign Ministry said, about 500 Libyans raided a housing construction site, run by a South Korean company in Tripoli on Monday.
Three South Korean and 15 Bangladeshi workers were injured. An emergency task force has been put together by Seoul, to be sent to the site to protect South Korean citizens in Libya.
Meanwhile, European countries have sent planes and ferries to the country, to evacuate their citizens.
International oil and gas companies have pulled out their foreign staff, and suspended operations, as anti-government protests spread to Tripoli for the first time.
