Crowds gathered around the building, as documents and sheets of paper were thrown from windows. In Benghazi protestors celebrated in the streets, claiming control of the country's second largest city.
Bloody clashes between anti-government protesters and security forces, have also spread to the capital Tripoli New marches were planned for Monday evening , in Tripoli's Green Square, and at Gaddafi's residence.
The capital city was largely shut down, as armed members of pro-government organizations roamed the streets hunting for protesters.
