Man arrested for sodomizing his sons aged eight, six and four years in Kajiado town

Police in Kajiado Town have arrested a man who is alleged to have been sodomising his three sons aged 8, 6 and 4 for over one year.
The suspect, Abdallah Mwangi alias Mude, is alleged to have been abusing the children for the past one year before the children’s aunt noticed that they could not hold their stool and took them to hospital for tests. Upon examination it was discovered that their rectums had been tampered with.

“I took the children to the hospital and I could not believe the results. Their father had been molesting them and the doctor confirmed the allegations,’’ she said.

She further urged parents to be careful with their children.
John Mwangi, Children’s officer in Kajiado County and Elizabeth Muthoni, a children’s officer volunteer expressed disappointment and promised to support the children by providing them with counseling.
Confirming the incident, Kajiado County Commissioner Harsama Kello warned parents against what he termed as barbaric acts and said that the suspect would be arraigned in court on Monday to face sodomy charges.
Last year a man was convicted by a court in Oklahoma, United States for abusing seven minors at a children’s home in Kiambu County.
Matthew Durham was charged with 17 counts, but the jury confirmed only seven of molesting children at the Upendo Children’s Home where he worked as a volunteer between 2012 and 2014.
According to reports his victims were girls aged between 5, 15 and a 12-year-old-boy.
