Gaddafi Still Hiding in South Libya—De Facto PM Jibril



De facto Libyan Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril makes a surprise visit to Baghdad. He had updates for the Iraqi Foreign Minister on the situation in Libya. Meanwhile the manhunt for Gaddafi continues.

Libya's de facto prime minister, Mahmoud Jibril, says the deposed Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi is hiding in southern Libya under the protection of tribes, crossing occasionally into Niger.

But he says the transitional government forces expect to pinpoint his whereabouts soon.

Gaddafi has been on the run since Libya's National Transitional Council, or NTC took the capital Tripoli in August, and has eluded capture despite several leads to his location.
